Hi, unfortunately my Bog Bro is at my parents house as I've been moving house, it will be a few weeks before I have a chance to get it back, sorry

No worries, picking on you as saw the recent pictures :)
Maybe someone else here has one..

They've changed designs a bit over the last few years, going to through axle and now boost, the seat stay height and fixing points changed a bit at the same time. If you email brother they can probably help though.

Does anyone have Stroma?
-
• #431
Hey! Are you still running the Stroma? ... Just wondering what tyre size you've had in the front fork under a mudguard? Is there a bit of room on this set up?

I would be interested in any has one and there thoughts on it

Anyone pushed the limits of the Kepler’s tyre clearance? I saw Seabass got some 47c cannonballs in one but want to be sure what the clearance is saying before maybe getting some for when the mud season is gone

I wouldn’t expect there to be much clearance for mud at the rear with a 47c tyre - in my experience, 45c is a push
-
• #435
Yeah I figured it would be tight, thanks for the info

the decision to go rim brake as well as other design choices like a threaded bottom bracket, 1 1/8″ headset and quick release dropouts also allows for the recycling of classic components which still have plenty of miles in them
I kinda of like the Brother Wooden/ Crust copy and I agree with the quoted text from their website, but aren't 650b qr rim brake wheels quite hard to get?
Edit: just saw this has discussed in the Graff thread

Not really, Pacenti Brevets are excellent.
Rims can be had from sjs, Pacenti, crust, and then hubs and spokes of ones choosing.I too am liking the Mr Wooden frameset, if I hadn't had Mr Vaz build my pink bike last year I'd certainly be up for one of them.

• #438
Yes but I mean you can't get a second hand wheelset for it and have to build something new, which isn't really recycling. If it was 26 or 28" there would be plenty options.

• #439
Ah, gotcha. I guess they meant hubs, square taper bbs, canti brakes, etc.
It's all marketing guff anyway. But I still like it. -

Waiting for a dropper but this bike is good craic

Was going to sell mine, but changed my mind and took it out to find the only mud left in South Oxfordshire.
What fork is that, please?

Looks fun - I’m keen to try mine with 2.2 XC tyres. 2.6 is somewhat overkill for most things. The forks are Rockshox Recon TL silver - dubious so far but haven’t had suspension in years. More fettling needed.

Nice; Vittoria Barzo on mine which you could see if I washed the mud off. Why are you dubious about the forks?

Lovely, I’ve been looking for a rim brake Kepler in 56 for a couple of years with no luck.

Thanks, I've had this frame since new - 6 years now! I would say the clearance is pretty limited with mini-v's compared to the disc model, and the new Gold colour-way is very nice.

Looks nice and clean
-
• #448
Yeah does look tight in the rear, what are you running 35s ?
-
• #449
looks great with the flashes of orange against the dark blue.
i'm constantly tempted to remove the mudguards from mine for the summer, but i don't want to be responsible for it raining for a month if i do. -

Late to the party – but my Stroma build
Loving it, but I fancy some summer upgrades... thinking maybe some Hunt carbon hoops, mainly just for the fun of it
Also seeing a lot of nice custom 1x road setups...

Can someone with a Big Bro do me favour? Maybe @el_presidente?
I'm looking at rear racks but don't have a frame yet.
What is the height from the eyelet to the top of your tyre? Ideally 29er with 2.1-2.3 tyres. Frame size medium but a size either way will be close enough. Thanks!
