Do real people ever actually buy these things?
Yes. They’re the people who have enough wealth and income where they don’t need to look at the prices of much. And there’s enough of these people to have brands like Brunello Cucinelli thrive. Sad as it seems, this will sell. It’s not made in huge volume compared to the H&Ms.
