Thanks folks. I’ve took a punt on some dhb tights, how bad can they be for £40.
The Planet X stuff is pretty good value. I have lighter spring time bibs from Planet X but I find the sizing with them hard to get right. I’m quite tall so have to go with the bigger sizes but they then feel a bit too baggy in the wrong places. I also found the pad to be a bit too chunky.
