I like the sound system chat. Should we envisage a ride with sound systems on the day of the party? #wheneverthatwillbe

Can we get this wrapped up before early August please?
Think I am finally leaving. -

So in for this. Somehow, given that the whole world is now virtual / digital, I feel more connected to the forum than I have in a while.
A party would be wonderful.
I have just the bike to take us back to 2k7.

You're my covid severity gauge. If I see you around when I'm out on deliveries I know my finances will still be fucked for another month. 😂

Count me in whatever we end up doing, been an absentee for too long.

Right, still no idea when we can have the BIG party, but as John says up there ^^^^, he's leaving soon. Should we have a nice, not the BIG one but not small socially-distanced forum party in a park, e.g. Primrose Hill, perhaps on Saturday the 1st August? Hillside track standing competition and downhill skid competition strictly optional, but some other games of bike might work better. Any suggestions?
We could also have a GSIAD on the same day (needs research into the pubs, which I haven't done yet, i.e. which ones are open and how they work now). If anyone wants to help organise, post here and I'll PM everybody.

Ha ha..

Ah, thanks, that slipped my mind, probably because there's still no thread about it. Someone at the Circle Line ride said it would be on I********, but I don't do that.
Alternative days would be Sunday the 2nd or Saturday the 8th, if that's not too close to departure for you?

TI Raleigh, recognise!
Jay Dub's bike was where I learned the meaning of the word copacetic. It has never applied to me but at least I know what it means :D

Well we have a venue sorted then!

Yes and no. Fine for London heads but as a northerner it’d be nice to have a bit more of a run up at an event to try and facilitate attending.

I get what you’re saying, but also https://www.lfgss.com/microcosms/945/
And plenty of the users are still from all over. Don’t ask don’t get innit.
