• Tile trim tucks behind the tile and is perforated so the glue goes through the holes and bonds it to the wall and tile. This wouldn’t work with wood I don’t think. You can get wood effect aluminium tile trim. Or I guess you could buy a 15mm oak strip and silicone it to the edge of the tile. That might work ok if you tiling is 100% perfect. You’d also need to be super careful not to get grout on the trim.

    Obviously don’t put it in a shower, but so long as you osmo it it’ll survive.

    I like wood in a bathroom, warmer vibes.

  • Right yeah it wasn't actual tile trim. I have found what I think I was after, 15mm square edge oak strip. Wouldn't be in a shower, would be a fairly short run across waist height tiles behind the sink/toilet etc.

    Wood is all about the vibes. Just need to convince the bathroom fitter its a good idea now...
