Yes, I cut down a bolt and that goes through the eyelt into the mount point. Only downside is on my camera this means I can't get the SD card out without taking the strap off. With some refinement I might be able to solve that.

Gonna throw in another option. This is the one I am using and it works quite well. It also has a magnetic fidlock buckle on the stabilizing strap.

They are in Germany though. Might be a bit of a hassle with Brexit now.
But I guess straps like the outer shell one have to be ordered from the US so maybe that doesn't matter.

That looks really nice. It uses the Peak Design anchor links which are really good.

Yes, I heard good things about them too. I have the standard "mini buckle" version though. I rarely take the strap off and they never come loose so that's all good for me.
