Exposure Diablo is a helmet light, it doesn't have the little saddle mount that the bigger lights have (Strada, Maxx D, Six Pack, etc)
Also, the standard clamp for those bigger lights is 31.8 which won't fit most bars at their (skinnier) extremities.
You can get 'clip on' saddle-style mounts for them but I've not used them to know if they have the angle adjuster. I just have the helmet mount and a basic rubber bar mount.

This is the one I'm talking about. Doesn't look to have the central adjustment bolt:
https://www.tredz.co.uk/.Exposure-Quick-Release-Handlebar-Bracket-With-Helmet-Light-Clip_32922.htmThere's clearly no bolt in the middle to adjust direction:
https://www.tredz.co.uk/.Exposure-Clip-for-Quick-Release-Handlebar-Bracket_69696.htmYou could probably get all kinds of bar mounts that would work with the 3-pronged mounts:
I know my Apeman cameras have loads of variations on this design to clamp to just about anything.

Unrelated but this might be a neat option for people looking to move their light around

This is what I use to stick my helmet lights on my handlebars - it will fit the skinnier ends of bars

You can also get zip tie versions, but obviously with these last two you can't change angle of beam.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/132932094957Why can't you mount centrally?
-
• #5508
Because it goes on the cargo bike and the cargo are right in the way of the beam.

so this:
but with the light bracket itself (not the bit that goes on the bar) rotated at 90. Otherwise it's a front fork mounted light. -
• #5510
Could you mount it on front of the cargo?
-
• #5511
I could stick it on the cargo’s head?
(If I can’t figure out a quick bracket I’ll get a fork light and run it off the battery)
-
• #5512
I don't know what type of cargo bike you have but presumably it has a front wheel or wheels that are IN FRONT of the cargo and would be a great spot for a FRONT light. Feel free to show us where the man touched, where the lights could be mounted out front.

• #5513
I mean CARGO as the ACTUAL CARGO AND THEREFORE MY CHILDREN.
-
• #5514
have you tried this?
-
• #5515
Do I really need to write "bike" for you or are you assuming that we're talking about mounting 31.8mm clamps to your kids?
-
• #5516
No. You do not.
I am, oh I give in. I'm getting a front light that I will put above the front mudguard. MUCH LIKE A FUCKING DYNAMO LIGHT.
BUT UNTIL THAT TIME I AM WONDERING ABOUT LIGHT MOUNTS FOR MY HANDLEBAR (moustache) IS THAT OK WITH YOU?
-
• #5517
Like these?

I love it when people ask questions, get some helpful options in the responses and then have a meltdown. It really makes my day.
Anyway, it sounds like you've got some other issues to work through rather than just lights, so you have a nice day now.

I'd try and find something for 'gopro' mounts that looks like it'll survive road vibrations without falling apart.
You can get a sports camera style mount from exposure or there are 3rd party ones with additional bands for piece of mind (would only bother if hanging under the bars).
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/294646751850Then pair this with something that can rotate, like...
https://www.amazon.co.uk/USA-Gear-Action-Adapter-Rotating/dp/B00NX943KI
https://www.amazon.co.uk/MyGadget-Action-Camera-Holder-Rotate/dp/B07GWW8C6C/ref=sr_1_13_sspaI've not looked for long, these will look bulky AF but might find something sleeker with more google time.

I’m trying to mount this Brompton Dynamo light to this custom fork. Problem is its got a bit of curvature to it … leaving a bit of space… is there something I there an adapter I can use?
This is the Brompton light mount kit which extends the arm so that the light doesn’t interfere with bag mount.
-
• #5522
do you have the thing on the bottom right?
-
• #5523
Durrr I forgot to add pic …
That’s the curved part that won’t sit flush against this fork.

ah .. well yeah, brompton fork is curved .. you could just use the dynamo mount like you would on a normal fork? 2 serrated spacers on each side?
-
• #5525
yeah the problem is that a regular mount interferes with the bag block ... dughdfh.
edit: wait, maybe you are right ... because this fork takes mini v's, the brompton brake is not gonna be in the way in the front!
edit again: nope it does.
If you loosen up the bolt on the light, you can rotate this to whatever angle you want – maybe there's a female helmet Exposure bracket that will fit?
