Have you considered a custom frameset from the forums own, the vandal metal works, which could be specced very similarly to this bike

I am looking for something similar and the proposition he has made is enough to make one halt the thought of a QBP frame. I myself was considering a cross check but was was won over at his ability to provide something more personalised and backed up by experience in building excellent bikes in this fashion
