Tenere is an ideal alternative to the 690 and has amazing reviews. Great deals second hand as well.

It's my wishlist bike, since a good used DR650 costs so much now, there's not a lot in it.

Yeah, I would really like a raid spec one. They just look so good.

People just seem to love them once they ride one. I would love a demo on one.
