liverpool looked knackered in the last 20 mins there, can't believe what was once, pretty much, the fittest team in the league are now struggling after 70 mins nunez firmino fabinho all plodding, the 70 - 90 minute mark of a game the last few seasons is where we blitzed knackered teams, spurs almost did that to us there
trent looks lost apart from his amazing passes, elliott shouldn't be starting in a team trying to win the premiershit
but hey we won
so what do i know -

Yeah with Silva at the back things are generally OK chaloba is progressing too. The midfield is a problem. RlC is a silky player but I think he lacks the dynamism to control a game jorginiho the same. Kova is a great player but needs back up. Havertz is so frustrating clearly a talent but in to many games he just floats about.

Wasn’t someone on here convinced Klopp was doping? Whether that’s true or not, I don’t know, but I think the way Liverpool play requires their players to play at the absolute peak of effort/fitness for so long that over many seasons I think it’s inevitable that there will be a drop off. Long-term, I’m not sure how sustainable that is.

Fucking yes please. First home win since the 'kids' game in 95. What a start for Emery.

Yeah, can't believe we're a team that's time wasting rather than going for the killer goal.

Chelsea were dog shit today, had Arsenal put their shooting boots on the margin would have been wider. Ramsdale had nothing to do today. What Cucurella was doing for the goal is beyond explanation (hugging Xhaka).

Have seen that few times, maybe here - some daft theory that they dope for 2 years then have to take a year off or everybody dies, so their form drops away. They need to get TAA back on whatever juice that keeps him at the top of the pitch pronto, he's a fucking dreadful defender.

I think the theory was that it was caffeine and asthma medication or something so all theoretically legal. Seemed to be a number of lengthy articles on it from what I remember.

Nein! IMHO, he's actually a pretty decent manager. Club tends to lose 2-3 of their better players every year. They always look like they know what they're doing, they just don't have good enough players to compete consistently.

I think he's been helping them look better than they are for a while. Think it will be a case of grass is greener.
Steve Bruce is available though so maybe they'll win Champs League next year.

Got my actual game of football tonight. 9-10pm. Took the old kit bag out the cupboard last night; ankle brace, Kaiser 5s, lots of the black rubber stuff, and some old everton kit. All musty, very musty. Short wash seems to have made them smell worse. #prayfortonts

The dettol in wash is very good for masking death stench. However, it comes back.
Sounded like Chelsea's defence was fine, but lacked any spark or control in midfield...
