About a year ago I posted here about finding an '89 MBK Aventure more or less my size and resisting the urge to spend money unnecessarily and slap new parts on it.
Well, a year later and it turns out I didn't resist the urge after all...only the actual frame remains at this point - which is nothing special by the way, classic steel gas pipe, but it rides beautifully. Definitely my most ridden bike this year by far

they are unbranded Chinese mudguards that were originally on a 26" ebike. The front stays are actually meant for a 20" wheel I believe, which is why they are threaded to the wrong eyelet! The original stays didn't quite reach, I need to make some sort of adapter
