Looks solid, cranks when?
-

I have them.
Going to sort out the Dynamo routing this weekend hopefully. Get the rear mech on.
I need to decide, where to position the rear wheel, could probably do with going back a little….? -
• #130
I’d keep it forward if you have the clearance. Won’t make much difference but shorter bikes are marginally more fun

I have a space fit for a pinky between seat tube and rear tyre….
Need to finalise where to put the join for the front and rear light. At the BB seems the best option, keeps both cables long. Reasonably accessible and protected? -
• #132
Does it hit the seat tube before the chain stays get too narrow? My old super galaxy used to get too narrow first. I always pushed the wheel in as far as possible to get it tighter

Hmm I'd have thought that you want a continuous cable going around/over/however past the BB as it's in the line of fire for water etc. Join nearer the rear light maybe?
-
• #134
It’s at maximum shortness. Good clearance on chain stays.

The cables naturally meet at the BB. If I go closer to the rear light I’d need two joins…
That seems less favourable.
Currently thinking I’ll spoil a little in the down tube so full cable runs over BB and can be pulled out at the BB to service. -

I’ve wired the Dynamo and it’s running!!
But a couple of busy weeks have meant little other progress. I’m very tempted to take it to the LBS to get it finished. Frustrating as it doesn’t need much. -

I saw this being slained by Cyclery

Is the chain not too long? Looks strange in the picture

NICE!

• #144
Thanks. I’ll take some better pictures once it has pedals and the like
-
• #145
Looks great. Out of curiosity, what was the rationale for this over a pfadfinder?
-
• #146
Further from my current road bike.
Larger clearances and more mount points, dyno routing.
Stainless which I think looks a little nicer. -
• #147
I figured those would be the answers! I hope you’ve been getting some good kms on it
-
• #148
Awaiting the bloody pedals!!
-
• #149
Get some pd-m520 for now, it deserves to be ridden!
