I am trying to get this bike back on the road but it's fighting back - let's see how I get on doing that first

now with the pelago instead of the surly disc trucker fork. rides ok. in theory the longer wheelbase should be a more stable ride with loaded front rack. tight fit with 26x2.2 race king.
not sure i like the look of the fork on this bike.

So I sold my blue fixed tracklocross/road thing and my Pomp commuter as I wanted to consolidate some bikes and reclaim some room in my flat. I ended up with components from both bikes being put on a new frame (pictured below). I was then going to use the new bike for commuting but soon realised that it's way too nice for that so I bought a Bromptom as my job doesn't provide secure bike parking.
Bikes, lol.

Nice use of the CXC fork.
Also, hello fellow danish suburbanite! -

Haha, close! Swedish suburbanite but yeah I see how that brickwork would fool you. One of the reasons I bought the house was the danishness of it. I'm half dane too so it fits!

Yeah, the combination of the red brick and concrete paving stones makes it look at home in Denmark.

Old 'Poison bike' forks. New ones are now thru axle. They weren't cheap, even 6 years ago! If memory serves they were 100+ euros. Could be less expensive than the CXC segmented forks @MisterMikkel mentioned above though.

That went over my head lol
After buying new ball bearings for the Campagnolo Chorus headset, I realised the headset was missing its cups... So couldn't use it!
That'll teach me to read eBay descriptions in full.
Used a Shimano 600 6500 headset from the parts box.
