You're right about no snakeskin pattern on the stems though they don't bruise red more tan/brown

Either way. Dinner tonight sorted

Is awesome

Dipped the parasols in beaten egg and
Mixed in cornflower with ground seeds - sunflower, sesame, pumpkin, hemp salt n pepper

Dipped chunks of parasol in egg, then ground seeds and deep fried in sunflower oil for 3 mins at 180 C

Served with garlic chive labne with black seeds. Spiritz of siracha

Served with lime

And salad
