Interesting insight by the intelligence officer.
The rebels provoked the Empire so the Empire would hammer everyone- thus making people hate it more.
Palpatine thinks he is being a boss but he is giving impetus to the rebellion. -

Denise Gough (intelligence officer, Dedra Meero) and Faye Marsay (rebel leader, Val Sartha) great performances and characters in this series.
We want more missions and less dialogue though, right?

Andor E9
So good. This, for me, is the very best of the the whole SW franchise. It has built into a dark and adult masterpiece. The writing and acting is top notch and the character building suspenseful. I really liked the Mandalorian, but that was just a poor and weak aperitif for this delicious main course.
Loving it. -

It is superb. A very different beast to the Mandalorian which I still really enjoyed.

Gearing up for a spectacular prison break from Narkina 5 labour camp. Will Andy Serkis (Floor leader, Kino Loy) escape with Cassian Andor? Also are the parts being assembled destined for the Death Star?
Great series..

Who knew the entrance to the ISB was at Canary Wharf by the Elizabeth Line? The stalking scene by the black water feature, that’s between the new station and the entrance to the shopping centre.

I recognised it.
I'd always wondered what that weird round sculpture thing was. Now I know it's there to attract film location scouts so they can stick a cgi hologram on top.

Who knew that Assos sponsored the Prison Staff / Inmate Uniforms and the Empire supports the London Courier Emergency Fund, lol
This needs a skin suit tribute to Star Wars.. LFGSS milltag collaboration
I also love the ambassador’s residence Art Deco interior on Coruscant, Genevieve O'Reilly (Mon Mothma) absolute star.. and costumes are sublime among the elite privileged
Andor Ep10 is gonna be mega

I guess it's target audience too.
My eldest (10) loved Mando but this has too much dialogue not enough action for him.
(I know it's not aimed at kids)
It is Disney tho.

It has gotten dark, Luthen Rael is fighting sinister Empire oppression with intelligence, stealth and a cold heart, funding the rebels and their missions. Cassian Andor also speaks of past atrocities on both sides as well as sacrifice in Rogue One.
Star Wars delves so brilliantly into the lives and back stories, reprising characters.. the whole series feels very British too.

Ha.
They love a British villain fo sho.
Infact they love British underlings in general. :oP

feels very British
Feels like a Doctor Who series that isn’t shit, doesn’t feature a space wizard and isn’t full of preachy bollocks. I love it.

Binge watched most of Andor over the last few days and up to date now.
What a series so far. Great acting, action, imagery, superb dialogue.Andy Serkis and Stellan Skarsgård flexing their formidable acting chops today.

ep10 virtually had me screaming at the screen. Magnificent on so many levels.
Anyone else notice the Barbican used in the latest episode, artfully integrated of course?
