Picked this up from @AlexD because girlfriend wants a track bike, gonna be built up with risers and a nice spinny ratio because she wants to learn to skid (direct quote)
Already got a silver stem/seat post, looking for some old school track style cranks and a cheap ish silver track wheelset if anyone has anything

I totally forgot to give you that 17t cog! Happy to chuck it in the post if you want. I’ve got some 600ex cranks which work well as track cranks with the right bb spindle length if you fancy them.
Looking forward to seeing this built up again :-) hope she likes it

Current state of the bike, got some IRD cranks waiting on finding a solution for the French BB and then it's all go
Wheelset is off one of mine until she finds her own 💪

why not use a threadless bb like oxford's one for example?

Looks great! I always wanted to try flat bars on it but never got roundto it. Glad it’s gone to a good home :-)

Took a beauty shot of the KHVZ and thought it deserved to be here

Very good bike

The Cinelli though. So nice. Even has a pump peg. And double eyes on the back. Needs a dayglo fork, mind.

Matching fork is on the list of upgrades that the bike is gonna get, although it’s currently trundling along with what is has and is functioning perfectly as a rat pub bike. Gonna wait till the groupset literally falls apart and then think about it

Did I spot this outside Mile End climbing wall last night? Looks real nice!

Haha, yes you did
Cheers man 👍
EDIT: Oh whoops, in my head you were responding to a photo of my bike, which was also outside mile end wall yesterday haha

Disco hubs (Sueze Pro Max) hubs sourced, any advice on rims? I know NJS rims are all tubs, although that seems like a bit too much of a faff for a bike that I’m gonna be riding on the road and fairly regularly....

Cinelli and Soma are up for sale, reluctantly mind. £1k for the Soma and £150 for the Cinelli, PM me if you’re interested

Well it’s definitely been a while, update time.
Went through a bit of a clear out, only two bikes at the moment.
Nice Bike/Commuter is a Mash SF Steel, built with big tyres and Nitto Bullmose bars
Other bike/pub bike (even though it’s way too nice to be a pub bike) is a KHS aero track that I got silly cheap with cranks included. Fills the roll of lock up bike even though its probably worth too much for that

Great selection of bikes there! I'd be tempted to keep the KHS as the Mash and Land Shark are both way to nice for lock up bikes (not saying the KHS isn't nice...).
Also, some lovely furniture and hifi going on there!

I think the plan is more along the lines of sell the KHS (mainly to pay for the Landshark haha) and then throw something together cheap for locking up
plus the KHS isn't steel and that goes against my own thread title

Got an old Deore XT groupset, definitely gonna start off as a bit of a parts bin special but slowly getting towards something nicer.
Want to try and cram as big 26" slicks as possible in there, any reccomendations?
Also looking for a canti mount front rack, let me know if anyone has anything
Yes, yes it does.
