Can't decide on what 13amp wall sockets to buy but need to have something in the next few days for a new partition wall. Am i right in thinking as long as i install the correct depth back box then most aftermarket sockets will work or do screwless facias require matching back boxes? TBH not opposed to visible screwfixing but would like something reasonably priced, good quality, preferably metal, curved edges and slightly raised.

Recommendations would be appreciated, struggling with all the rose gold, non-branded, expensive tat the ID shops stock.

I don't know generally but my screwless ones just use a standard back box. The main part of the socket attaches as normal and then a thin faceplate just clips over it.

Thanks. Yes they're not far off what i'm after, would quite like painted white if possible but brushed doesn't look bad. How's the quality (snug fit to wall etc)? Do you know the brand?
