Sorry, I'm not sure I understand. Was Hancock in the Sunak cabinet? Presumably he loses that gig if the whip is withdrawn.

I mean we've got this slightly odd situation where those in the cabinet are effectively allowed to sack off their MP jobs to run the country.
Morals aside; a couple of hours p/m in your directorish where your handlers walk you through your talking points doesn't impinge on your workload as an MP. Whereas a cabinet position does.
