Those cable guides work good with fully enclosed mechanical cable terminating at a v brake noodle or a seatpost bolt-mounted canti hanger.

Is fully enclosed not got a lot friction? Whenever I tried to set them up like that could never get the lever feel to be any good

I have an angle grinder and a spare tapered fork. Hmmmm…

If you avoid small-radius bends in the cable run then it can be fine (in my opinion).
Don't get me wrong, I think the best explanation of planet x specifications is just that it's planet x :)

So what pomp version geometry do people think the Mulo replicates?

I approve and can relate..

Ooohh, I'm tempted to get one, and immediately space it to 135mm....

Which fork will you use?

This bit I'm not sure about, either a genesis day one fork I have or maybe a carbonda if it's looking rad

The chain pip is a nice touch.

The Stridsland Barnacle fork looks like a good match

Except that its non tapered and the frame is...

Can just use a lower bearing reducer for a straight 1 1/8 fork, it's even mentioned in the blurb.
-
• #8594
Ah okay! Couldn't be bothered to read all that...

• #8595
the mulo is all nice... but ... tapered? really?

I also find the paintjob quite shit. Baby blue with white like they already did 15 years ago... (No offence Jdog)

For them bouncy gravgravé forks of course.

Yeah I get that, no offence taken. With all my other stuff being grim colours I don't mind a bit of enlightenment. For me the interesting bit is the clearance and ability to fit some fatties hopefully. We'll see . . .

Will be interesting to see some tyres chucked in there - what's the real world clearance like?
Also the crank and chainring clearance.

I haven't had a proper mess around yet but it looks like 45's will still give some clearance which will probably be the limit of the fork anyway
Any obvious reason for the cable stops to be more for hydraulic cables? Is hydro rim brakes the intention
