It's the northern quarter, it's all bloody bars round there and has been for years, they were the main thing that drove any interest in the area, sparked by night and day, and what was dry bar nextdoor, yes there's more people living there now too but if you choose to live there you should really know what you're getting in for and deal with it or move rather than ruin a staple of the cities night life. It's a bit unfortunate the miserable neighbor moved in during lockdown into a place that hadn't been soundproofed properly, and that should be rectified, but it should have fuck all to do with the local venues.
At the same time, it's not really viable to keep residential areas proximate to city centres as uninhabited wastelands (per the Graun article) because the venue got there first.
