26in wheel to replace stolen front

Got a frame today, so looking for some bits.

1. 26" front wheel or wheelset that's Shimano 9-speed compatible.

I reckon I have a 90s Shimano STX groupset kicking around somewhere. What size band would your front derailleur need to have?

That's a good question, I'll need to get the measuring calipers out in the morning. Will drop you a PM on the groupset

Yeah, that's solid, but depending on price as this budget build is already spiralling over budget (as always)

Will any old MTB levers work with these?

Them v brake were with these brake levels ,now on my Daughter's bike. So answer is yes .you can have them v brakes for free.

Hi, thanks for the offer but I managed to find a basic pair in the spare parts bin so I'm sorted, for now.

So, front wheel got stolen as I was in Lidl and came out with a tonne of shopping. FFS. So, need a 26" rim brake front wheel (or wheelset if 9-speed). Nothing too fancy, just running straight and smooth. Tyres up to 2" would be an added boon
