Them v brake were with these brake levels ,now on my Daughter's bike. So answer is yes .you can have them v brakes for free.

Hi, thanks for the offer but I managed to find a basic pair in the spare parts bin so I'm sorted, for now.

So, front wheel got stolen as I was in Lidl and came out with a tonne of shopping. FFS. So, need a 26" rim brake front wheel (or wheelset if 9-speed). Nothing too fancy, just running straight and smooth. Tyres up to 2" would be an added boon
