What are you getting?
It's been hard work. My idea that half term would be a great time to get a puppy so the children would get to know her was actually terrible. Actually just meant a lot of chaos and attempting to concentrate on 10 things at once.
Not hard work compared to actual real hard work obviously.
Plus balanced out by her being amazing. She's been totally unfazed getting mobbed by crowds of children in playgrounds, etc. Done a couple of 1.5 hour drives with no issues - just goes to sleep. She does sleep a lot.
Interspersed with very manic playing. Will be much easier when it's possible to walk her and I don't have to carry her round in a bag all the time.
We got our puppy, Ada. She's great.
Also really hard work, particularly as children off school for half term and are even less helpful than I predicted.
Would elaborate, but typing this is about as much time as I'll get to myself today.
