"WHAT WE SHOULD HAVE RIGHT, IS A WAY TO CHECK DECISIONS"
"NOT LIKE THAT THOUGH"
It's a game you bellends.

We don't really have the means to calculate it though. Picking the frame when the ball is played is subjective and there can be quite a bit of movement between frames (if a footballer runs at 9m/s and it's captured at 50 frames per second then that could be 18cm between frames, more if there is a defender running the opposite way).

Not related to the Tottenham decision but VAR is, from a pure football enjoyment perspective, objectively shit. Sure, we probably get more decisions right now, but I think we could all handle a ref or linesman making a human error in the midst of a fast-paced game. To have have this level of technology and still have people making blatantly wrong decisions is daft and the officials on the pitch don’t even trust themselves any more. For the majority that watch on telly, it’s probably not much of an adjustment, but it much be shite to be in the ground (which, tbf, I’ve not done for a few years now) and not know if you can celebrate a goal. Mate of mine says he barely bothers any more.

All measurements come with an uncertainty, there is no perfect measurement device. So as chalfie explains so eloquent, it's a game, just get on with it and deal with the odd marginal call going against you.

PSV were on fire last night. The VARs discounted goals spared us a humiliating defeat. If we are going to achieve greatness then these are the matches we need to turnover

Putting out the second string was a bad move. Now we have to play the first team next week before Chelsea. 9 games in a month with one loss isn't so bad considering the fatigue that must be building up.

Well that was utter shite. And that kit....puss yellow. FFS.

• #162684
This is where Newcastle becomes the next dominant force isn’t it?

Rock bottom of chumpionship. Dark times.

Four goals in stoppage time at the Valley today. Madness!
-
• #162687
Why aren't Everton wearing blue today? Is there any blue in Fulham's kit?
-
• #162688
At least it wasn't a puss yellow kit
-
• #162689
Never sure about these things. Imagine it’s a “justify having three new kits every bloody season” thing. Happy with a point against Fulham. Even first half but they were well on top in the second.

AC Milan wore their 3rd kit at HOME v Monza last week
-
• #162691
well at least we're making the relegation battle exciting, hopefully we don't join it !

• #162692
Aye the reds were pretty shite tonight.
Still no desire.
Leeds were fun as usual, so spirited, hungry for everything. -
• #162693
I'd say West Brom were the best team we've played this season too.

• #162694
Threw away a two goal lead, then got it back in the last added minute, and then still didn't win.
Spineless. I'm glad I couldn't go.

Ipswich wore their third kit last Friday for the televised game against Derby.
It upset some people, but we won, which we don't normally do on TV.
And it's nicer than that Milan one, and has Ed Sheeran behind it rather than Berlusconi, which is moderately better.

That Chelsea nude bodysuit 3rd kit has to be the worst in prem history
-
• #162697
There aren’t any teams which have come to the hawthorns and looked ‘good’ this season. We’ve just been worse.
Can’t score to save our lives
-
• #162698
Definitely - they lost out of embarrassment yesterday.
-
• #162699
En it. Fucking horrendous.
Also its cursed as that is the only explanation for the performance yesterday -
• #162700
Chelsea are not cursed, they just need a reset.
what uncertainty? It was called, there is no uncertainty.
Look, I'm a Sporting fan but if it was the other way around you'd be saying the same. If you know it's offside, call the offside. It doesn't matter if it's 1m or 1mm, if we have the means to calculate it, call it. Simple as that.
