Most of the time just the amount borrowed and no interest at all. May be the 3 days interest at worst, certainly not the full x month's amount.
You're cancelling it, not settling it early, i.e. you've got no loan to repay.

Thankyou, from reading that it did seem that way just needed reassurance

Asking again as my procrastination hasn't achieved anything.
I've been given a word document with some charts/data built into it. I typically receive them as powerpoints where I can easily toggle off layers so I can animate them as part of a video. Their powerpoint whiz is away so I'm stuck with Word.
How can I get the chart in word into powerpoint? (As I can't seem to toggle on/off objects and export layers from Word)
Do I bring it into excel first and from there into powerpoint? When I right click the chart and edit data in excel it's just in text/box form. I can turn it into a chart but it looks nothing like their Word example, which it needs to match exactly.
My best solution at this stage is just to screenshot it, bring it into photoshop and build the fucker there.

If you right-click on the chart, is there an 'Edit Data' > Edit Data in Excel' option?
Scratch that, can see you've tried that.
Re: looking for the source chart when you click on 'Edit data', does the Excel source have multiple sheets, or even some hidden sheets? (right-click on the sheet selection for the 'Unhide' option)

Thanks - I've done it in photoshop now. Laborious and messy but accurate and done. Hopefully the next time I need to do it their Powerpointer will be back and can give me some coaching over zoom or something.

I want double sided spd pedals (ie spd both sides) for a touring bike - I want them to look vaguely “classic” and definitely be silver. I’ve seen various mtb pedals, shimano saint, dmr v-twin, but they don’t come in silver, and tbh look too modern/mountain-bike-y.
Any suggestions? It’s most important they are double sided, so if I can’t find any it will be shimano SPDs but they won’t look great :/

the closest will be the M540 iirc

Amazon firestick home screen shows a loop of 4 suggested prime video/ Disney ads. Some of these are fairly adult for my kid. Any way I can stop these ads?

Could you create a new 'child' profile?

Today I saw an incident at the station where the train doors closed with a small child on the platform and clearly their parent inside the train (turned out to be a parent plus smaller child inside). Someone had put their arm in the doors so they couldn't close (looked a little painful). Someone else on the platform (a passerby) noticed and simultaneously was trying to calm the small child (prevent them falling down the edge of the platform) and wave at the driver. I was at some distance so couldn't see very well but I don't think the doors were released, rather I assume that a few people helped force them open to allow the rest of the family off and after a few moments the train left.
I was wondering - on the train is an emergency door release lever, and an emergency alarm speak to driver button. Everyone is kind of trained not to use them. What constitutes an emergency? I feel like small child getting left at a station by themselves would warrant pulling the door release. But does that then require the doors to be reset or something? (I've been on trains where some wag has pulled the emergency door release for laughs, with the effect that the train was taken out of action.) Should you also push the other button so the driver knows what's happening?

Both of those look great, thank you. I can’t find them for sale anywhere though!

Don't most trains now have a button to communicate with the driver, so you wouldn't have to go all hulk on the doors?
-

When confronted with the choice of
- stick arm in door, guaranteed to prevent the train from moving, or
- hope both button and driver do something
I can see why just jamming the door might be the method of choice.

Train drivers on train forums have stated that a child or other vulnerable person being separated is a reason to pull the alarm. Do that first, the driver should then release the doors.

Nothing guaranteed about jamming the train door. They have a surprisingly large margin of error and there've been quite a few incidents where people have had a hand or a coat or a strap trapped in the door but the "doors closed" light in the cab has still come on and the person has been dragged along the platform.
(And the doors have been found to be within spec afterwards)

Oh, you want "available" too? Blimey, there's no satisfying some people 🙂
The Exustar is 94лв (about £45) at https://velomen.bg/pedali-exustar-e-pm84.html my Bulgarian isn't up to checking whether they ship to your location

Train doors, the following isn't universal I'm sure but in my experience:
Some train doors are have no sensors so will shut trapping whatever on it. This should prevent the train from moving as it breaks the train interlock leaving the brakes on.
There will be a emergency door release next to the door. Pulling the door release will allow you to manually pull the doors apart. This may only work below a certain speed if the train is in motion. (5mph in my experience).
There will be a passenger Comms button to talk to the driver in an emergency.
Activating either door release or passenger Comms should trigger a warning for the driver in the cab which would prevent the train departing until investigated. -

This would be my preferred option

This seems to just put a pin lock on accessing more adult content, I'll try it mad see if it blocks ads too.

'Tis a pity the Polish shop I looked at first was out of stock, it's generally easier to find a Polish hook up than a Bulgarian one 🙂
Loans.
If you cancel a loan within the first 14 days do you pay what you borrowed (plus a few days interest I suppose) or the full amount including the projected interest?
Eg. Ive borrowed 200 for x months and its 380 return after those x months but Im paying back after 3 days so its 200 + 3 days interest?
