The decals were a horrid turquoisy blue, I only left the small one on top of the fork crown.

Just in time for summer. Lesson learned:
Don’t spec an IS42 bearing cup if you don’t know anyone with the tool ream and face it.I dremeled out the old cup and had the talented people at Dlouhy cycles face and team it for a ZS44 cup.
Lost a cm of head tube in the process so I need to keep doing those sun salutations over winter.
The eagle eyed will also notice a gorgeous transition from head tube to bearing cup, it was trimmed and chamfered by no other than the exceedingly kind @barry .
