I've not got one to sell but have a rear wheel I'm not using next weekend that you're welcome to borrow if that helps! I'm in SE20 for pick up/drop off. Shoot me a message if you're interested.

Awesome to see another group head out for a follow up. V glad of Ben's help as the route was great, just enough up to make it feel worth while but not punishing. The downhill towards Clacket was great, absolutely loved that bit. Lanes are a little gritty so watch out of course. And the Enchanted Trailer was removed so Beddlestead is clear.

@ojwithbits Hills are good for an intracity after worker. Definitely get that proper fixie climbing and descending to it.
The Kent and Surrey loops are made really to get a train to the start do the loop and train back. You can ride out but it can turn it into a big day with lots of grim traffic. Will try and send through another route or two at some point. Also keep the Widowmaker in the back pocket until you've found your fixie feet

Yeah hills and Regent’s/Richmond park are probably the way forwards here I guess
you either die a hero…
Thanks for those routes! Hope to see you on the November date, I’ll book it off whenever it’s announced (:

Late as ever, but thanks for a top morning everyone, @youramericanlover for organising (and @cagimaha) for the neat route, just what I needed. Look forward to November - and yes, would be up for jumping on the train for North Kent Coast come January.
The 'Man of Kent/Kentish Man' conversation over the recovery drinks and nutrition? I stumbled across this on Saturday night
, which I thought @cagimaha and his Scimitar could find some inspiration in....

Sorry for the delay pinning the next date for Moderate Day in November but now confirmed.
19th November
Same start place and time, Elmers End roundabout, rolling out at 8:30am. Will be ~45 miles again, different loop but similar feel. Will keep it to a similar steady pace. Subject to @cagimaha seal of approval of the route will be the below:

Yeah all sorted, tried it out on the commute today. It was just a matter of getting drop bars and levers really, I’ve had this bike set up brakeless with risers for a while now. Definitely need a shorter stem and to change the hood angle a bit, but should be all good! Going to try a 40/50 mile ride this Sunday
