The Keith thing came about initially due to autocorrect turning Keir into Keith. It stuck because it sent died-in-the-wool centrist dads into fits of apoplexy. Dads who had no issue referring to Starmer's predecessor as Magic Grandpa (or far worse), of course.
I like it. It's mild ribaldry, totally inoffensive and winds all the right people up.
