Sexual abuse allegations against Dylan, dating back to the 60s, when the plaintiff was a child, and they come on the last possible day:
The lawsuit comes on the final day of the New York State’s Child Victim Act look-back window, which closed Saturday, 14 August. The measure had offered reprieve for adults time-barred from filing civil suits for abuse suffered as children.
Dylan's spokesperson:
A spokesman for Dylan, now 80, told the Guardian on Monday that “the 56-year-old claim is untrue and will be vigorously defended”.

That's the last day for a civil claim, but not a criminal claim, is that right?
-
• #329
Did they not bother to check Dylan's whereabouts in April/May 65?

Wasn't even shocked when I heard this today.
I am huuuuugely bias but i'm confident he will be cleared of this in due course.
-

I’d have thought if you expect him to be cleared, because you expect that he’s innocent, you’d be fairly shocked to hear he’s just been accused of molesting a 12 year old in 1965.

You'd think right?
He's a high profile figure and has been since the early 60's. To get this far without such an accusation is more shocking. None of my heroes had been accused yet so I was waiting for it.
Fingers crossed the truth comes out either way.

He, Bob, not Tom, is coming to the London palladium this Autumn
Sold out.

Any update on the allegations?
Might sound stupid but I've basically stopped listening to him out of fear that he did those terrible things 😬 -

Seriously?! For what it's worth, the complainant has withdrawn all charges, so the attempted shakedown is over.

Found this podcast recently. Good ep with one of my favourite podcasters, Andy Miller of Backlisted. https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/is-it-rolling-bob-talking-dylan/id1437321669?i=1000565390451

Me obviously
He's on the never ending tour -

I went to the Palladium last Thursday. I hadn't seen him for 10 years as I felt a bit sad watching his declining powers. However the new material is a perfect fit for his voice as it now is, he clearly enjoys playing them, and the show was superb.

Classic
only just seen this thread. Big Dylan fan here. I've loved him since I discovered him in the early 80's although I prefer his earlier stuff from 61 to early 70's.
Had the pleasure of being in the audience for this one at Wembley Stadium July 7 1984 with my gf at the time, sister and two favourite cousins. What a day that was. Supporting bands if I recall were Nick Lowe, UB40, Santana and probably some others I forget now. Not a bad line up on stage with Dylan either
