Not related to the Tottenham decision but VAR is, from a pure football enjoyment perspective, objectively shit. Sure, we probably get more decisions right now, but I think we could all handle a ref or linesman making a human error in the midst of a fast-paced game. To have have this level of technology and still have people making blatantly wrong decisions is daft and the officials on the pitch don’t even trust themselves any more. For the majority that watch on telly, it’s probably not much of an adjustment, but it much be shite to be in the ground (which, tbf, I’ve not done for a few years now) and not know if you can celebrate a goal. Mate of mine says he barely bothers any more.
