I recently got a quote from a roofer and it went into detail re labour and materials. I got another quote and it was just a rounded figure. 100% ask for a breakdown.

I personally dont, its too much time and hassle and it follows back to the previous debate on here regarding pricing.

Have had some quotes in from a builder and just wanted to check if it’s reasonable to ask for a breakdown of said quotes in terms of labour and material costs?
One job is to remove a rusted vent pipe and replace. The second is to plaster board and skim a bedroom ceiling.
