Very jealous of the acquisition, not so much for the stuck parts! Hope you can get them moving.

Cheers! The tubing is nothing special but the paint really "pops" in a way difficult to capture on camera.
Decided to drop it off at the local bike shop, they seemed weirdly enthusiastic about the job. -

not the highest quality
Weldtite is what you'd get if you went to your LBS. The quality is the lowest an honest person can get away with. At least they are going to be hard and tough, unlike some anonymous Chinesium ones, but the huge diameter and roundness tolerance on Grade 1000 leads to uneven pressure and accelerated race wear. Given how cheap even Grade 10 balls are in the context of a single home build, it seems like a false economy.

Arrived today in the post!
I would normally go for higher end replacement parts but I want to see how the bike rides.
I have a couple of brand new headsets in the parts box that I can install later

Few small Samson changes
Bar-tape - had no luck with the Lizard-skins stuff, kind of noisy and started moving around. So back to basics, BBB cheapo stuff has always been fine. Not tacky but gonna be fine with gloves.
Also found some new Dura Ace quick releases to match the groupset.

Yeah, arrived early 2020 at the start of the lockdowns. Although I have been riding it I've only just got around to try and take a half decent photo.

Undeniable proof that level top tube frames make the best looking bikes.
Great photos too.

I've had the same issue twice and resolved it with caustic soda!!
Make sure you tape the seatpost up as water tight as you can, like really water tight. Then pour the solution through the bb into the seat tube.
After about 24 hours it'll either be disolved completely or enough to free it up and remove it!

Samson is hot purple fire! I've always wanted an NJS sparkly road bike.
DA9000 is a modern classic, it just works so well with the Nitto stuff. It actually reminds me I need to ride my neo-retro Vitus more.
Always a gamble.. :)
For the price I paid it was alright, had some decent parts on it already and the wheels are running nicely.
