Dawes Super Galaxy Plus, St 52 ctc, TT, 56 ctc, handmande F+F, 531 tubing.
Serviced 6 years ago and barely ridden (genuinely done less than 250 miles in that time I reckon), running perfectly - details included in picture of receipt. New shifters/levers, rear mech, cassette, bar tape, cables etc.

Bit late to the party here, but I got one of these for £27 about 7 or 8 years ago, then my dog, then a puppy, put its teeth though it. Ive still got it on my colnago super(posing really) but looked for a new one and they are on the bay for £150 now.

Cheers. Got £50 for it which makes a buyer happy and my kids could steal some more money from me 😄

That's mainly for the frame. Maybe more atm cos it's fully serviced, and it's summer so people are planning tours.

They're lovely bikes, I had one for years.

It’s a bit of a bitsa but rides really nicely and the frame has the odd chip but nothing horrendous.
I’m just not using it.

What's a reasonable price to pay for a nos/nib Campagnolo Chorus headset from the '90s?

stick it on ebay 99p start for a week, with something like this its worth £100 and £1000 to two different people!

I got a genesis disk flyer 2021 58cm gathering dust. It cost me £700 to buy. I don't use it anymore. It has done around 1500km. It has a few commuter scratches and one of the eyelets for the rack needs to redrilled. I have been using a seat claimp with a rack mount for my rear rack. Also it comes with some full length mudguards as well. I was wondering how much it would go for?

What's the going rate for a used but VGC Ultegra 6800 group?

Bit redundant as it was two years ago but then I bought mine for £300 and then t was in line with others sold on the forum.

I’d say £250 tops now but prob less?? Could be wrong.

I think when nobody could get any drivetrain components you might have got £300-400, but I'd say a touch over half that now. I'd probably try asking £250 but take anything over £200.

I need to shift this to make space. Canyon Roadlite AL 2012 (or thereabouts) Ultegra 10 speed. C24 wheels. Old pic. All in excellent nick. Would rather sell it complete without pedals and a cheap saddle, or could split the wheels and sell it with some less good ones I think I have. Any ideas on what it would be worth? I have no idea.

I'm confused about its worth as the value seems mostly in the frame with specialized.

Hi, I work for a charity bike shop and looking to get some advice on pricing a couple of nice MTBs that have been donated to us recently.

A Ti Airborne Lancaster with some very nice kit on it (details to follow) and a 2011 Orange R8 also with some nice bits. Photos NDS-fail, I know - apologies.

Keen to price high enough to deter any of the parasites that come in specifically to pick up stuff on the cheap to flip on eBay/Gumtree as well as generating as much money as possible for the charity.

Any thoughts? Both will be cleaned/serviced, and come with peace of mind in returning if any issues occur.

Airborne looks like full Hope x XT, that itself is a good 3 to 400, 800 - 1k all in?

that’s what i thought, thomson, DT wheels, fork is Lyric? are those hope brakes? it’s 26in though so not sure how much that brings the price down.
presume it’s tubeless ready.

the orange is a nice bike but those 317 wheels are old style narrow and not tubeless. £650-£700?

How much should I expect for my Shand?

DuraAce, Chris King headset, BB and hubs, Enve finishing kit (not longer the ti seat post in the photo), DT Swiss RR521 rims. Also has a custom Straight Cut frame bag that would be included. No dents but a few scratches here or there.

Front axle is 15mm which makes me think that possibly splitting the wheels from the frame may put people off?

Olmo Scatto SLX frame....54 cm square ( need to confirm)....in very good condition...no dings or dents....a few stone chips.... excellent chrome with a Dura Ace headset....with Shimano 600 50/42 chainset, 600 BB, 105 front and rear mech (currently 8 speed), 600 Dual pivot brakes and the chain.

Photos show the bike built up.....Velo Orange quill stem, Ritchey 31.8mm bars and Microshift 8 speed brake/gear levers.

Either frameset and headset or frameset, headset, cranks, BB, gears and brakes or everything except the wheels, seatpost and saddle.
