I took my wife’s name when we married it was very simple and others have stated no cost involved. I actually preferred my old name and I now have two names that can be surname and forename which is not ideal.
Fear not though, I ensured she wasn’t escaping the patriarchy that easily by insisting she became Mrs.

You’re in good company though as lots of inspiring people have two names that can serve as forename and surname including David Cameron, Elton John, Theresa May, Neville Neville, Craig David, Josie Lawrence etc

One day there'll be a perfect line up on the Velogames categories for first names as surnames team again. It was much easier when Dan, Guillaume, and Tony were all riding the same races.
