Those Hope bits are delicious! What are they being built onto?

Would prefer a cleaner aesthetic if I can help it. Its all in the details for this one

Got a set of Matrix M.T Aero wheels which I need to relace for this otherwise might go for some deep V types like the Rigida DP22

You're really twanging my purple ano fetish...
You looking to use cantis? If so, a little brass pulley brazed onto the underneath of that stem would look cute.
-
• #3706
Cantis and yeah something like that! I think even just a cable stop and tunnel under the stem would work. I've got a 1 1/8th stem with some pretty mental internal routing going on.

Anyone got a triple mtb chainset going? Doesn’t have to be anything fancy at all.
Working on this bike for my FIL and there’s a crack in his DS crank arm. And it looks like the square taper is shot 🥲

I *think*I've got a Deore LX triple in storage you can have. I'll have a look tomorrow or Thursday if you're interested?

Just testing the water really, but might anyone be interested in some insanely expensive Mavic 231CD ceramic rims on 32h hubs? Front is Pace crabon/ti, rear XT. Got pictures and I do need to clean them up. Ceramic coat has worn in a couple of patches but overall very good still

That would be absolutely awesome! No worries if you can’t find anything would appreciate if you did have a look thank you

Not sure I've got chainring bolts though. I should have but as to where...
Probs got some rings if you need them?
Think I might even have a set of Pace titanium rings, I'll have a look just in case.. -

@Juice.Bikes I’ve got an older salsa stem with the little wheel and cable housing stop on it, gives a clean look with canti’s

This is a vibe. Exactly what I need but wonder if some cable guide shaped in that same angle would work. I think I need to post in the framebuilding thread

@Juice.Bikes Just had a look and found this, looks really clean, using a cut down v brake noodle

That is really clean but think I found one step up. I'd have the tunnel ever so slightly raised so that it matches the level of the cable at the end of the stop. This would also match the routing of the stops on the frame -

About a year ago I posted here about finding an '89 MBK Aventure more or less my size and resisting the urge to spend money unnecessarily and slap new parts on it.
Well, a year later and it turns out I didn't resist the urge after all...only the actual frame remains at this point - which is nothing special by the way, classic steel gas pipe, but it rides beautifully. Definitely my most ridden bike this year by far

Nice.

Which guards are these? Nice looking ride!
-
• #3720
thanks
they are unbranded Chinese mudguards that were originally on a 26" ebike. The front stays are actually meant for a 20" wheel I believe, which is why they are threaded to the wrong eyelet! The original stays didn't quite reach, I need to make some sort of adapter -

I like the headtube gussets - almost as though it was designed to carry a heavy front load

Our pair on a Bristol to Abergavenny ride visiting the in-laws yesterday.
Bought a frame to replace the kona and it’s too small. If anyone has or knows of a 19” explosif or unit frame with sliding dropouts hit me up.

Does this mean your too-small frame is up for grabs?
I’m looking for a small 26er frame for my daughter…

It’s a 2006 18” Kona Unit with sliding dropouts - lovely excrement brown.
Paid £130 this week - can run disc or v seems solid although obviously haven’t ridden it.
PM me if interested

Nice bikes, what r the grips on the rockhopper?
You wouldn't want to use a headset bracket like the orange p7 above?
Nice hub
