I've been to a couple of these (IWC and Rolex) free booze, get to look at some nice watches, chat a bit of bollocks. Basically like being on here but with drinks

the bezel lock is cheap shit from YEMA made from folded steel, prone to bending out of shape if I snag on clothes, frankly should not have any sharp edges. Should be easy to remove but it’s not. i'm not happy. Let’s see what YEMA customer services have to say.

On the plus side, it look way better without the bezel lock.

How did it work? Unscrew crown and turn bezel?

Look at this total fucking chancer.
They're being reissued next year. Probably around the £600 mark.

Bonkers. Seeing the market awash with Rolex as people attempt to cash in on their ‘investment’ and nobody’s buying. It’ll be interesting to see how far it drops.

This is entertaining to watch!
When people suddenly realise that watches are not investments and if you bought as one, you're only gambling and hopefully you're not caught with the hot potato.

Ha ha, there are other PR82s on eBay.
Both under £500.
Highest sale price so far £420. Think £18k might be a stretch.

I don’t really invest so it’s weird to spectate a falling market and the buyer paralysis, FOMO replaced with FearOfOverPaying.

Where are these mass Rolex sell offs happening?

They're not selling yet... Ppl are holding off to see how low it could go.
Edit: at least I am... So a sample size of 1.

Different sources seem to think different things. Maybe a difference between sale prices and asking prices?

I'd be surprised if they ever dropped by much but I'll keep my eyes on prices.
For wearing not investing so they need to drop enough to make me jump. I assume Rolex would reduce production to keep prices high.
-
• #67725
They're not artificially lowering production. They make more than a million watches a year. They want to sell more of the high end stuff with gold and gem stones if anything.
If this is happyness then I don't want any.
