I wouldn't describe a lazy trope about someones race as comedy but maybe that's just me.
To be honest I thought the old 'cornershop' casual racism was a thing of the past, not seen or heard anyone pull it in years... but here it is
It does show that, although in TV / radio / films etc this is now non-existent, it hasn't left the psyche of the general populous.
The person in question is late 60s but that's no excuse.
