I would think anything would do for a half decent TV these days.
There are usually good deals on the big brands and if you don't need the extra smart features (amazon fire/apple tv/Google TV anyone?) or "better" sound, then just get a cheap model from Samsung, Sony, lg, Panasonic etc ..
