  • Sometimes the answer to those kind of issues is levelling the frets, but that’s a lot more involved than raising the action or tweaking the truss rod.

  • More involved than I want to get, I fancy. It shouldn't need levelling as it was only refretted a few years ago. That said, they guy who did it (who was recommended by someone I trust) left an awful lot of fret sprout for me to tidy up, so who knows whether he bothered levelling it?

  • Yeah, I've had issues with fretting out on a couple of frets on one of my guitars, which I'm pretty sure is a high fret rather than an action or truss rod issue. I just don't want to deal with it… will have to at some point
