Update on my failed rear mech - got in touch with Pawel via facebook. Sent the mech to him Thursday. He sent me this on Saturday:
loose bolts, very common issue. I have used plenty of locktite, they won't be moving again. I have also sorted out scratch on the body, cleaned everything and lubricated all springs.
I have regreased orings in the servo, this should keep water for longer. Derailleur should serve your well for years to come.
He sent comprehensive photos too.
All for £60 (including postage back), which is pretty amazing. Plus I get a lot of satisfaction out for stuff being repaired rather than being thrown out.
