Bet that handles beautifully, fantastic build and cool paint job.

This looks like heaps of fun.
I been trying to choose some tyres for a 20" wheel city bike. Would you recommend Maxxis DTH?

Little bikes are big fun!

The XTR brakes on this are hilarious. Looks like a lot of fun!

I'd recommend them for sure. They're maybe a little thin but have been solid for me and riding conditions are worse than UK roads I'd say.

Hilarious and they work for the build.
Surprised the cranks didn't get the same attention. They'll have to go at some point, don't feel like they quite fit what I was going for -

Nice! But it deserves a nicer seatpost. Also, wouldn’t it be more comfortable with some setback? It doesn’t look particularly ergonomical with the seatpost in tri-position and the short mtb stem.

This was the only 50cm post I could find at the time. I'm sharing the bike with someone quite a bit shorter than myself so needs a fair amount of adjustment. That being said, I didn't need 50cm in the end so I'll think about something else once I know exactly how much post I do need.
Ooh, what it really wants is a nice dropper but I'm not sure how much money I should sink into an Argos bike tbh. Also, this is carrying a toddler so saddle is out of the way of kiddo and a sort and tall reach keep the rider upright and steering easy.

Sounds sensible, as long as it doesn’t mess with your knees too much. 50cm seatposts in non-folding bike sizes are probably hard to come by at a reasonable price.

Fwiw, cranms clocked massive amounts of attention from me.

Just read through the whole thread. Was worth the wait, it looks loads of fun. Especially loving the spoon colour scheme. It's got me thinking about other bike/jdm crossovers that could work.
Sounds like you've got a couple of interesting BMXs too. Care to throw up some pictures?

Need pic with the kid seat setup!

😁 I'll get one soon

So most of them are in frameset mode atm. The hammered bronze fiend and Premium Guttershark are yet to be built (Gunnershark has parts, Fiend was always bought to save/collect really) Both of those are still in London so won't get Amy pictures soon.
Redline is also part built. I'm actually stealing the XTR crank from that for this bike. That's at a friend's house so all I can snap is the green 'main' BMX.
I'll get some shots up soon. -

Sounds like a great quiver. Is the Fiend the Ty Morrow frame they did a few years back? Which Redline do you have? I have an 04 Redline Monocog 26" wheeled single speed mtb but always wanted a Redline race bike. Currently have an old Sunday Third Wave as my actual bmx and then 02/03 T1 Barcode and 00 Standard STA500 frames.

I've been out of work for a while so need to see what's going on with the distro atmAlso had a go on a Benno boost the other day, seems a pretty good option

A Quick Haul has been ordered.
Not sure if I'll change much on it but I have a while to think before it arrives -

A Quick Haul arrived, P9 with the performance line motor. No pictures as it's all stock other than removing most of the unused bolts. First mission is to work out how to get some chunkier rubber in there.
I've just noticed how bad the picture quality is, then looked at the phone and one of my lenses it toast 😖
