• I can see why my builders wanted to just lay out wooden flooring over the top of these horrible brown tiles - I'm having a crack at pulling them up as I don't want to lose the head height.

The crowbar & hammer is all I have to hand but I guess I can go and get something else. Is there a better way of doing this than chipping away & trying the lever them up?
Maybe smashing with a sledge hammer? But I feel I'll get shredded by shards doing that...

  • Bigger/heavier hammer and a bolster would be what I’d use

  • Hammer SDS drill and a tile lifting bolster

  • I picked up a cheap hikoki SDS for £50 so definitely look at this and the flat chisel route.

For extra giggles I also bought a standard chuck attachment so can use it as a standard corded drill.
