Hadn't really thought about this before but, I wonder if this whole flex might be a way for him to deal with the trauma of being booted out.

He'll come up with an excuse to self-rationalise the decision, but ultimately it will be a way to him to tell himself that the people who kicked him out were wrong and actually everyone still loves him.

That's not true. Mason was very quick to point out that there were major doubts about these numbers and that only 50 MPs had publicly declared for Johnson.

After reading much of the commentary here, it’s clear to see that there are not many Tory members or MPs contributing.

In that regard, it is totally unbelievable to “us” that a criminal could come back as PM. But after reading and listening to Tory insiders and supporters, they would love the convict to get back in the ring. The desperation inside the Tories is palpable, many believing that a liar and criminal is the best possible Tory to run the country!

Funny thing is, it could be the best possible outcome for a general election to happen sooner rather then later -and in turn, the best thing for Labour and the country as a whole.

If BoJo comes in as PM and fucks the country even more, then, he fucks the Tories even more so….
