I was going to say that's a lot of cash for an alloy-framed hybrid with Nexus gears and otherwise fairly average-looking components, but I've just seen the price of a Trek District 4.

It's more than the rrp (and a lot more than I paid) for a Cube Travel Pro which has dynamo lighting.
Admittedly it also looks a lot lighter.

hah. no i'm not. Someone recommended the brand to me on reddit. I personally find the design a bit naff.

Perhaps it was the ultra anonymous User no. that sparked my suspicion.
We've certainly got one thing in common - that the design is a bit naff - and I think that alone proves your credentials as a non employee.

The Boardman URB 8.9 looks similar and is only £875 (though comes without mudguards and lights).

I put some Marathons on on of these yesterday and, yeah, like 99% of bikes it’s absolutely nothing special. I see better and worse every day.
