Does anyone trade in ETF's? I know next to nothing about it and investing in general, other than dabbling very briefly in penny shares about 10 years ago.

Is there a definitive/go to guide for dummies? Cheers

Buy baskets of them via nutmeg or vanguard or whatever.

If you want to buy selected ETFs then get a dealing account on the cheapest platform and drip buy through that.

yes. they are good to get exposure to different indsutries/markets without paying fees to hedge fund managers
