    The Tories need to go into opposition, so they can tear themselves apart over the Brexit fantasy they forced on the nation, rather than doing it in Government and taking the whole country down with them.

    I hope, although I have little confidence, that there are enough Tory MPs with the sense to realise that they should be no part of this and either resign, forcing by-elections, or cross the floor of the House.

  • Crossing the floor is effectively a resignation from your job. It’ll never be done by enough to make a difference, so what’s the point?

    Remember Umunna et al and the Independent Group for Change? I think every one of them lost their seats at the next election. Stand and fight is the only option until PR.
