Curtains - is there somewhere that does reasonably priced, not horrible curtains? Just need to cover a few windows and big glass doors while we decide what we are doing long term. Don’t want to spend loads, but want to keep the house warm.

John Lewis thermal / backed curtains are alright for the money I think. Lots of colours at least.

I'm with @edscoble - since it was recommended to me on here it's been Elfa twinslot for everything. Shelving a mix of block laminated oak, pine and freecycle ply. It's cheap and it works.

Feels like they are wasting their time. Presumably buyer dropped out w/ mortgage issues so hard to see how they get another one at a top-of-the-market valuation. It looks nice and all but it's one of those properties that won't appeal to everyone.

I think people still have the “if it’s worth that 6 months ago” it’s gotta be still worth that now, even though 6 months ago it was probs over priced because the market went funny

They may yet be right. I was amazed to see this morning that this has gone under offer, despite only being listed a few weeks ago at a pretty pandemic-influenced price.
