Two semi-colons in one sentence? It's a damn good job she wasn't Education Secretary.

Best tofu gag yet:
"Never in the field of British politics has so much been owed by so many to tofu"

I actually think the Tory party might have let this bin fire get totally out of control and somebody has accidentally parked a petrol tanker next to it. I can see a full on civil war blowing up at this rate. Any more than 10 rebels tonight and I think the pressure on Truss is going to get even worse. I know I'm in a minority but I can't see them being able to hold out for 2024 at this rate.

I think if they do try to make it to the 2024 GE they will end up destroying the party on the way. I just cannot see a plausible path for them to take to get out of this mess at this point.

So our options are:
1-A labour supermajority "soon"
2- The destruction of the Tory part as we know it and a labour government anyway.Damnit that's not fair. I can't choose.

We've got at least 3 rebels already declared - including Chris Skidmore who Liz Truss appointed to review our Net Zero approach.

Home Sec sent a government email from her own account
Weirdly this doesn't seem to be forbidden. The official line on this is very soft compared to most businesses

Basically telling Liz to resign on the way out is hilarious too

It's been described as "market sensitive data" so that's a bingo

Deputy chair of the 1922 said he would vote for it but only because if whip withdrawn his own letter to Sir Graham Brady would be set aside and he wanted that to stay in play!

She sent it to the wrong email address LOL
"the email meant for Hayes was accidentally sent to a parliamentary staffer of a different MP - containing market sensitive details."

So our options are:
I mean, only if the dude on the cycling forum is right! Which I'm normally not...

£20 on a Tory majority in a delayed 2025 GE then

Fuck me, Farage is a toxic cunt but he can sniff out a grift - bet he’s already in talks about “reluctantly (with a weary shake if the head) stepping back into front line politics to stop Brexit being stolen”

but they might have priced in those ten… mathematically it has to be at 71 doesn’t it?

The lettuce might actually win lol.

36 rebels would defeat it. But significant numbers will make here position even more untenable.

So we had the EU referendum to prevent the ERG splitting from the Tory party and leading to a Tory party that would not be able to get enough seats for a majority. Today it looks like the Tory part may splinter, thereby being unable to get a majority. So we get the same outcome but we’re now out of the EU.

Sounds about right
"Lock her up!"
