I have a 8 speed nexus, think it's 36 holes and a bar end shifter that you could have for cheaps if you fancy that.
Hub and shifter are untested by me, but look to be in good condition.
£40 for hub and £25 for shifter. Think i might also have a grip shift shifter somewhere which you could have for free.

Not according to my policy docs but yours might be different.

I am currently in Munich and there are sooo many cargo bikes and shops that sell them.
They had some tax incentives I think but not sure if that was only for businesses.

Actually mine is OK.
They have pictures of three types in their site, of which one is problematic. -
• #10283
Yeah, mine isn't unfortunately!

Bad luck. Ride carefully!

Why do most of the pictured cargo bikes have an orange tag on the handlebar/saddle?
-
• #10287
assume because these are from a shop and for sale?

small update:
front light too short to go from motor to the front of the box, could go on the top of the fork but probably not the best position for a light? what do you think?
installed it facing the back... since i am a cheap bastard, i am trying with a bit of celofane paper to change the light to red (its blue but that what i found on short notice) its not working...did some protection against the elements....its kinda crap...but will grow on me i guess...
currently fighting the brake installation...
thx

Finally got round to changing the back tyre on my UA. Still some wear left on it but reckoned better safe than sorry - it's done about 4,000 miles (front tyre did 8,000!)
So got the wheel out to find brake rotor has two missing bolts and three of the four remaining ones were loose! Bit scary. Is one supposed to use threadlock? -
• #10293
They normally come with threadlock on, so I'd add a dab if it's not there
-
• #10294
good call - I had to rebuild the back wheel a couple of years ago so it's my fault. Now... can I be arsed to take the wheel out again?
-
• #10295
also, back wheel has now developed a slightly worrying noise. Sounds a bit like dodgy barings. Happens when not peddling too. Might be time to replace the dreaded Enviolo

I’d also advise to use it, and would be worth using a torque wrench too. Possible that they’ve been loose / uneven since installation.

Just looked it up, 2-4nm

Always do it to 5nm myself :-)

Has anyone got a "this jack works" or "have a piece of wood this size" to hand so I can have it on my bullitt in case I need to get the rear wheel out?
-
• #10300
you have alfine? a rear pannier rack helped me massively to lift and angle it for a second or two for the wheel to drop. Fiddly but works.
PSA, there's a recall on the some (most?) Easy-Ups on 2022 Bullitts
