Just in time for summer. Lesson learned:
Don’t spec an IS42 bearing cup if you don’t know anyone with the tool ream and face it.
I dremeled out the old cup and had the talented people at Dlouhy cycles face and team it for a ZS44 cup.
Lost a cm of head tube in the process so I need to keep doing those sun salutations over winter.
The eagle eyed will also notice a gorgeous transition from head tube to bearing cup, it was trimmed and chamfered by no other than the exceedingly kind @barry .
