Was going to say it’s vegan but it’s clearly been tested on a mustelid.

OG recipe was better but had lanolin in.

I use this stuff:
https://www.thegreenwoman.co.uk/fit-pit-manI'd be interested to know how this compares to nuud but it has been a revelation. I used Sure for years and never realised how horrible it was.

I think nuud uses silver to piss off bacteria, no smells which is nice IMO.

You do.
Just because you have become used to your own BO doesn't mean everyone else has.

How do you apply it? Scoop some up and rub it under your arms like moisturiser?
Edit: Etsy give you instructions (unlike the website)
HOW TO USE
Store your Fit Pit in a cool dark place so it does not melt. Apply a pea sized amount with fingertips to underarms in the morning and after bathing.

https://www.aktlondon.com is quite good.
And Aesop deodorant is nice, but really pricey. Lasts about three months though. https://www.aesop.com/uk/p/body-hand/personal-care/d-odorant/

You don’t.
I’ve never used it. Ever.
I almost never use soap and haven’t used shampoo in years. Wear natural fabrics and shower frequently. -
• #136
Yeah exactly, you don't need much.

Cheers. I might give it a try.
I use nivea which I've found to always work well and have a nice smell. Although it's a glass bottle, the plastic ball seems wasteful and ultimately it does leave residue on tops.
There is obviously quite a big price differential though.

Big Toiletries got you good huh

nudd here, tried a lot of the alternatives. Postage takes ages tho. The little dispenser adaptor is worthwhile getting too.

Random question but do those garments smell worse when they get wet/you sweat? If so could be mildew from slow drying clothes, and found this stuff works wonders https://www.vanish.co.uk/products/laundry-boosters/
Add one scoop to wash and mildew gone.

I ordered the pit balm …
Brilliant stuff , tried 8km run , in man made fabric ( normally a guaranteed whiff) then 50 mins of resistance training… no smell , next I tried 2 Days hiking and wild camping … merino clothes but no smell
Nuud just arrived , it took a while to get here , that says it could last up to 7 days and uses silver to control the bacteria .
I’ll let you know -

LOL, just seen this thread. I stopped using commercial deodorant about five years ago and it took a good six weeks before my pits began to recover from it. Since then I've been using a water/tea tree oil mixture and can safely say I don't reek to high heaven. Have had several independent witnesses testify to that too. YMMV, ofc.
The thing is, it does take your pits a while to get used to not using commercial deodorant. And for that period, you stink like fuck.

I put weird natural deodorant on about 3 times a month. Not even sure why I do it. Maybe less. Shower at least daily for like 2 minutes with a bar of shitty olive oil type soap. Wash the hair once a week. No one goes running so I smell okay. Also my white t shirts done get crappy discoloration under the arms.

Just ordered some Nuud. Interested to see how it goes. I occassionally improvise a spray deodorant with some crystal deodorant (potassium alum) dissolved in water in a spray bottle, sometimes mixed with rubbing alcohol/witch hazel. Not sure how effective it is, but it feels right to give my pits a break from Mitchum every day.

PitRock Crystal.
No staining, works like a dream, lasts years and years. I only replaced my last one as I lost it. -

I reacted quite badly to Nuud, not sure if it's the silver in it.

I'm trying nuud. Seems alright so far, although apparently my pits were smelly last night. Still trying to figure how often to apply
I've been using nuud for a couple of years, it lasts fucking ages and I put it on after every shower, so every day or two, but if I forget it's not really a problem.
